Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) is a herb that is used in Asian and Caribbean cuisine. Widely Lemongrass is commonly used in teas, soups and curries. It is also suitable for poultry, fish and seafood. It is often used as a tea in African and Latin American countries.
Recipe for lemon ginger iced tea. Lemongrass, 1/2 cup sugar, 7 thin slices of fresh ginger, 2 teaspoons of green tea: Rinse the lemon. Place in a pan 5 cups water, sugar, ginger and lemongrass to a boil, turn off the heat and add the green tea to tea in a clamp or something so it can be removed separately. Steep about 4 minutes, or until the taste is good. Remove the tea out and let it cool down for about 30 minutes. 3. Pour the mixture through a fine sieve into a jug and leave to cool at least 2 hours. Serve with ice cream!

Store this product cool, dark, dry and airtight; after a year the fresh taste develops into a more mellow taste.
