Organic Certified Hangzhou (Pre-)Qingming Long Jing, High-End green tea from organically controlled cultivation in Lin'An, Hang Zhou, Zhe Jiang, China. The cultivar is Jiukeng Quntizhong (JKQTZ, Quntizhong means seedling). This tea was picked between April 1st and 5th, somewhat later than usual due to the (snowy) cold of late March, but the quality is excellent! Qingming fell this year on April 4th, 2025. The dried tea consists of small, long, and thin (flat) leaves with dark brown, yellow, and green hues, the traditional "Cao Mi (brown rice)" color of Long Jing tea. The "Yu Ye" (fish-shaped leaves) indicate the first picking of the year. The tea has a bright, pale green color. This tea has a distinct aroma and flavor of sweet nuts, with an eggy note, characteristic of a beautiful, classic Long Jing tea.
