Pinglin Organic Jin Xian Gaba Wulong. An amber-colored tea with a ripe apricot flavor with molasses, a tea with little bitterness but with character. GABA Oolong is a tea rich in gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter that occurs naturally in our body and has a calming effect on the nervous system. The increased GABA concentration in this tea is achieved by a special fermentation process in which the tea leaves are processed in an oxygen-free environment. This process was originally developed in Japan in the 1980s and later introduced in Taiwan.
