Spring tea from 2024 Persian Red OP, red tea hand-picked from Sar Cheshimeh, in the Gilan Mountains, Iran. This Orange Pekoe tea with a refreshing, palate-cleansing finish and a lingering, grapey aftertaste is produced by the young company Lo Artisan. Gilan is a tea-growing region on the southern shore of the Caspian Sea. This tea is traditionally steeped in a high dose (4 grams per 200ml) and for a very long time, up to fifteen minutes. This is easy to do, as this tea has absolutely no bitterness.
