Wuyi Jin Mu Dan, also called Golden Peony, is a high-end tea from Wu Yi Shan, Fujian, China. Hand-picked and hand-processed, this tea imparts honey flavors and slightly smoky peach notes. Magnificently balanced! These plants are a cross between the Huang Yin Gui variety and the Tie Guan Yin. The tea is produced in a traditional way, hand-picked and processed by hand. This tea was developed more than 40 years ago. This tea has been slow roasted several times and has an intense flavour. This tea gets better and better with age as the roasted flavors transform into more sweet flavours, so it is excellent for long term storage.
