Cascara coffee berry tea is an infusion made from the dried peels (or "cherrys") of the coffee plant (cafea arabica). It is also known as cascara, which means in Spanish "shell". Coffee berry tea is rarely produced for export but often locally enjoyed in places where coffee is grown. the caffeine content is low to high, depending on the typesetting and infusion time. the taste of cascara tea is quite different to those of coffee and can be described as slightly sweet, sometimes with a cherry flavor.
