Lemon Verbena BIO
Lemon verveine whole BIO (Verbena citriodora Cav.), whole dried leaves from controlled organic cultivation, from Morocco.
The leaves of this verveine, fragrant Vervain are used to add a lemony flavor to fish and poultry dishes, vegetable marinades, salad dressings, jams, puddings, and beverages. It is also used to make herbal tea or for a refreshing sorbet. Also known as Aloysia citriodora Palau.
This lemon verbena is good for digestion and relaxing at the same time.
The tea stimulates the gastric juices and can be drunk after eating.
The plant is native to South America (Chile, Peru)
Do not let the tea steep for longer than 5 minutes in water at a maximum temperature of 65ºC.
