Lishan Oolong, harvest autumn 2023 from Mount Li Shan, Taichung, Nantou. This tea is light oxidized and not roasted. This tea is very floral, fruity, refreshing, with a creamy and thick texture. The ultimate experience of a slightly oxidized Taiwan oolong tea. Li Shan is a typical 'high mountain' oolong, high grown (around 2,200 meters). On Mount Li Shan tea is cultivated since 1970, and is ultimately experience of the highest tea fields in the world. Due to the cold conditions in the vicinity of Li Shan, the temperature differences between day and night are huge, harden the tea plants. These conditions increase the level of aromas, flavor and complexity of the tea. During spring and summer, these mountains are often shrouded in fog and mist, alternating with periods of bright sunshine and clear blue skies.
