Da Hong Pao Nong Xiang Wuyi Oolong tea, also called Big Red Robe, from Wuyi Ma Hei village, Wuyi Shan, Fujian, China. A classic among Chinese oolong teas. Medium to dark oxidized (roasted). The tea has a full texture with a fruity taste. The tea is produced in a traditional way, hand-picked and processed by hand. This tea was developed 40 years ago. This tea has been slow roasted several times and has an intense flavour. This tea gets better with age, as the roasted flavors transform into more sweet flavors, so it is excellent for long-term storage.
