Lahijan Persian Red OP, Red tea hand-picked from Lahijan, Gilan, Iran. Orange Pekoe tea with a refreshing sweet aftertaste and a persistent grape aftertaste. Gilan is a tea region on the south shore of the Caspian Sea. This tea is originally consumed in high doses (4 grams per 200ml), and steeped for a very long time, up to fifteen minutes. This is also easy because it has no bitters at all. The result is a tea with an earthy, woody flavor.
