Rohini Jethi kupi Witte Darjeeling L.A. ( Latest Arrival) Deze thee is gemaakt van de cultivar BB157 uit Darjeeling, India. De thee is levendig, robuust, fluweelzacht, muscatel en granig, vanille, witte bloemen, parfum. Traditioneel kopen wij deze in sinds 2015.
De blaadjes worden alleen langzaam gedroogd, dus niet verhit of in vorm worden gebracht. De thee is levendig, fluweelzacht, exotisch met iets van fresia, granig en muskatel. Het Jethikupi perceel van de Rohini theetuin brengt al jaren wonderschone witte thee voort.
Jethikupi komt uit het Manipuri dialect en betekend Jasmijnbloem. In het Nepalese dialect (Gorkhali) betekend het woord 'jethi' oudste dochter, en 'kupi' betekend trechter of kegelvormig. Hiermee wordt het hoogst gelegen perceel van de Rohini theetuin bedoelt.
